IT Support Specialist - help desk (Raleigh, NC)

Foxglove Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Raleigh, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 539 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
