IT Support Specialist - help desk (Providence, RI)

Amberfield Stone Health is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
