IT Support Specialist - help desk (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Oak Health Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Providence. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
