IT Support Specialist - help desk (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Orchard Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
