IT Support Specialist - help desk (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Rowan Foods is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
