IT Support Specialist - help desk (Omaha, NE)

Highbridge Stone Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
