IT Support Specialist - help desk (Omaha, NE)

Rivermark Wren Freight is a Omaha logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
