IT Support Specialist - help desk (Oakland, CA)

Stonegate Juniper Health Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
