IT Support Specialist - help desk (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Arts Center Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
