IT Support Specialist - help desk (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Nova Ivory Banking Services Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 588 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
