IT Support Specialist - help desk (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate Maple Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its New Orleans plant, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
