IT Support Specialist - help desk (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak River Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 736 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
