IT Support Specialist - help desk (Milwaukee, WI)

Bright Harbor Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Milwaukee. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
