IT Support Specialist - help desk (Madison, WI)

Summit Field Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Madison, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
