IT Support Specialist - help desk (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Basin Health and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
