IT Support Specialist - help desk (Madison, WI)

Northwind Bridge Banking Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for branch operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in Madison. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
