IT Support Specialist - help desk (Madison, WI)

Northwind Studio collects and processes waste and recycling around Madison. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
