IT Support Specialist - help desk (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Keystone Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Knoxville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 532 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
