IT Support Specialist - help desk (Knoxville, TN)

Ironwood Sparrow Health is a healthcare provider in Knoxville with clinics and support teams. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
