IT Support Specialist - help desk (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge Haven Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Jacksonville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 474 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
