IT Support Specialist - help desk (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood River Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 723 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
