IT Support Specialist - help desk (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Cedar River Property Management and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 785 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with rent collection. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
