IT Support Specialist - help desk (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Thistle Financial serves customers across Jackson with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
