IT Support Specialist - help desk (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind Linden Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 944 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
