IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Umber Legal Group is a law firm in Houston serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 633 people based in Houston. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
