IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Clearpath Nest Manufacturing makes precision components in Houston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
