IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Foxglove Summit Insurance is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
