IT Support Specialist - help desk (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Basin Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Houston plant. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
