IT Support Specialist - help desk (Honolulu, HI)

Cedar Forge Freight is a Honolulu logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
