IT Support Specialist - help desk (Hartford, CT)

Nova Willow Learning Group is an education provider in Hartford serving students and families. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 834 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
