IT Support Specialist - help desk (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Juniper Health is a healthcare provider in Hartford with clinics and support teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
