IT Support Specialist - help desk (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Ivory Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Hartford, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
