IT Support Specialist - help desk (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Forge Environmental Services Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
