IT Support Specialist - help desk (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Wren Energy is an energy provider in Grand Rapids focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
