IT Support Specialist - help desk (Fort Worth, TX)

Harborlight Cobalt Staffing is a Fort Worth staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
