IT Support Specialist - help desk (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Granite Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Fort Worth and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
