IT Support Specialist - help desk (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Lantern Property Management looks after rental homes across the Detroit area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with resident events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
