IT Support Specialist - help desk (Detroit, MI)

Summit Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Detroit serving students and families, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
