IT Support Specialist - help desk (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Basin Health is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
