IT Support Specialist - help desk (Dallas, TX)

Redstone Orchard Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 432 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
