IT Support Specialist - help desk (Dallas, TX)

Cedar Vista Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
