IT Support Specialist - help desk (Columbus, OH)

Clearpath West Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Columbus focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
