IT Support Specialist - help desk (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Lakeside Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
