IT Support Specialist - help desk (Cleveland, OH)

Summit Ivory Foods is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
