IT Support Specialist - help desk (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind West Freight Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Cincinnati. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
