IT Support Specialist - help desk (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Linden Legal Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
