IT Support Specialist - help desk (Charlotte, NC)

Bluepeak Birch Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Charlotte, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
