IT Support Specialist - help desk (Charlotte, NC)

Clearpath Forge Freight is a Charlotte logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
