IT Support Specialist - help desk (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Charleston area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Families are partners. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
