IT Support Specialist - help desk (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Junction Manufacturing is a Boston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
